The song portrays a person who is never having enough. Money, greed, power, and control are defined as the basic existential values in order to function normally in this world. The song also talks about the reasons and traits of the character leading to the specific state of mind.

Song reflects on a person who is living a life with a feeling to be above anything and anyone else. At least that's what he is thinking. The reality, though, seems to be quite different: instead of seeing opportunities and paths this "god" is seeing dead ends and excuses. The weakness to fight inner demons fuels the energy behind massive blackmailing, misleading, miscommunication between the individual and others with one gaol - to humiliate others and drag them down to the same level.

Inspiration comes from a company Edgars one worked for. The director of the company acted in a manner that constantly raised one question: do you even care about your employees?
